Javier Romo García

Javier Romo García has been working in the software engineering field since 2008. Javier began their career at AYESA Advanced Technologies (formerly SADIEL) as a Jefe de Proyecto, then moved to the role of Responsable del Área de Tramitadores (Administración Electrónica) in the Public Administration. Javier then became Responsable Tecnológico Java. In 2017, they joined Agencia Andaluza de la Energía as Área de Administración Electrónica y Sistemas Corporativos. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Smith.ai as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer.

Javier Romo García attended Universidad de Sevilla from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería in the field of Informática. Javier then obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2010. In November 2013, they obtained an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN. In April 2015, they obtained a Lean IT Foundation certification from EXIN, and in May 2015, they obtained a Scrum Manager Experto certification from Scrum Manager. Additionally, they hold two Sun certifications in Java programming.
