Brett Steele

Brett Steele has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Brett started their career as a Federal Court Law Clerk for the United States District Court. After that, they worked as a Senior Associate at King & Spalding LLP, focusing on commercial contracting and litigation matters. Brett then joined General Electric International as a Corporate Counsel, handling contract negotiation and management for power generation and energy delivery technologies. Brett later served as a Senior Counsel at Siemens Energy & Automation, providing legal expertise to the Process Solutions Division. Brett then transitioned to BEAZER HOMES USA, INC, where they held the role of Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, overseeing legal affairs ranging from litigation and employment issues to compliance programs. Brett's most recent positions include Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Habitat for Humanity in Atlanta, Inc. and Smith Douglas Homes.

Brett Steele attended Huntingdon College from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from Mercer University - Walter F. George School of Law from 1994 to 1997.
