Maher Samman

Maher Samman is an experienced sales professional with a robust background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Sales Manager at SMITH International Gulf Services LLC since December 2022, Maher facilitates the supply of spare parts and executes pump overhauling contracts for an oil and gas company in the UAE. Previously, Maher held the position of Area Manager at Quantum Pump Systems Ltd from December 2021 to December 2022, where proactive market expansion in Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, and Bahrain was achieved through strategic marketing campaigns. With a lengthy tenure at Weir Engineering Services from April 2010 to December 2021 as Sales Manager, Maher managed rate contracts and provided key services to oil and gas clients. Early career experience includes a Sales Manager role at Ahmed Ramadhan Juma EST, where marketing a variety of pumps was key, alongside responsibilities in supply and commissioning projects. Maher holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Damascus University, completed between 1992 and 1997.
