Gabriel Campos has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Gabriel started their career at MobiComp in 2001 as a Software Development Engineer and worked there until 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer II, where they were responsible for migrating a mobile application to Microsoft technologies. Gabriel then joined Critical Software in 2011 as a Project Engineer II until 2013. Following that, they worked at ASAP54 as a Lead Architect from 2013 to 2017. Since 2017, Gabriel has been with Smith Micro Software, Inc., initially as a Senior Staff Engineer and currently as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2021, they also took on the role of Invited Assistant at ESTG - Politécnico do Porto.
Gabriel Campos obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from Universidade do Minho in 2000. In 2023, they completed their Master's degree in Computer Science at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
