Hélder Ribeiro

Hélder Ribeiro has a diverse work experience in the software industry. Hélder started their career at MobiComp as a Product Software Engineer, where they worked on various mobile apps and projects. Hélder then joined Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, contributing to the development of software modules and frameworks adhering to high standards. Hélder later joined iMobileMagic as a Project Manager, responsible for implementing the PhoneNear Family Safety platform and delivering music festival apps for Vodafone Portugal. Hélder also took on the role of Software Architect, designing software solutions and leading the development team. In 2016, Hélder joined Smith Micro Software, Inc. as a Senior Program Manager, leading the implementation of the SafePath Family and Consumer IoT platform and subsequently taking on roles as Principal Product Manager and Director of Product Management. Throughout their career, Hélder has demonstrated leadership, coordination, and product management skills, resulting in successful product launches and revenue generation.

Hélder Ribeiro graduated from the Universidade do Minho in 2007 with a degree in Computer Science and Systems Engineering, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In 2008, they attended a Software Patterns course at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. In addition to their education, Hélder has obtained certifications in Executive Coaching Training from Bright Concept - It's In You (expected completion in 2023), Employee Performance Coaching from SimpleCert (completed in 2021), and Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) from Scrum Alliance (completed in July 2020).
