Emily Willette

Emily Willette is a book publicist at Smith Publicity. Prior to their current position, they were a senior writer and media strategist at Rubenstein from August 2018 to December 2018. From April 2017 to February 2019, they were self-employed as a senior PR and media communications specialist. From August 2013 to April 2017, they worked as a senior publicist at Tor Books. Emily has also worked as a publicity director at Get There Media from September 2009 to May 2010, and as a senior publicist at Freelance from September 2009 to May 2010. Emily was also the head of publicity at Quest Books from November 2004 to January 2008.

Emily Willette pursued a BA in Journalism and Spanish at Western Michigan University. After graduation, they worked as a journalist for a local newspaper.

Emily Willette reports to Janet Shapiro, VP, Publicity. They are on a team with Jane Reilly - Book Publicist, Ashlee White - Book Publicist, and Chris Baker - Book Publicist.
