Alex Anderson

Alex Anderson has a strong background in accounting and finance. From 2007 to 2019, they worked at Smithfield Foods, starting as an Accounting Manager and eventually becoming the Director of Accounting. Alex'sresponsibilities included improving profitability through strategic acquisitions, managing teams and properties effectively, coordinating with various departments, and handling commodities futures and import/export business activities. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Tippett, Padrick, Bryan, Merritt & Raynor CPAs, where they provided financial analysis and planning for clients. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at First Citizens Bank as a Trust Securities Specialist, ensuring accurate and timely investments for trust clients and implementing changes for process improvement.

Alex Anderson completed an MBA in Business Accounting at Campbell University from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2003, they also obtained a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Business Accounting from the same university. In addition to their formal education, Alex has obtained certifications in Responsive Web Design, Critical Thinking, Discovering Your Strengths, Logo Design: Symbolism in Nature, and Writing in Plain English. They also hold a Certified Public Accountant certification issued by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners in 2007.
