Chris Smith

Chris Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Chris began their career as an intern at EY in 2008 and subsequently worked as a Consultant and Senior Consultant until 2015. In 2015, they joined InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG™) as a Global Audit Analyst and later became the Global Audit Manager. In 2018, Chris joined Pentland Brands as a Risk and Controls Manager and held the position until 2020. Currently, they are the Head of Internal Audit at Smiths Group plc.

Chris Smith attended Wheatley Park School from 1999 to 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Birmingham, where they achieved a 2:1 classification. Lastly, from 2009 to 2014, they attended the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
