Abhinav Rastogi

Abhinav Rastogi is a Senior Optical Test Engineer at Smiths Interconnect since February 2023, bringing extensive experience in optical engineering from previous roles at ams OSRAM and Finisar Corporation. At ams OSRAM, Abhinav developed innovative optical concepts and led the establishment of an Optical characterization lab during the pandemic. As a Staff Engineer and Team Lead at Finisar Corporation, effective project management across multiple countries was demonstrated, alongside vendor engagement for custom optics testing platform development. Abhinav's earlier roles involved optical design and process optimization, contributing to significant advancements in optical transceiver technologies. Abhinav holds a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and has pursued advanced studies in Optics/Optical Sciences at the University of Rochester and the University of Arizona.
