Charlie MacLeod

Charlie MacLeod has extensive experience in leadership and strategic development across various sectors. As CEO of SMM since July 1985, Charlie has successfully guided a talented team in driving client success through innovative business initiatives. In addition to this role, Charlie served as Director of the Keen Theater Company from October 2021 to July 2024, contributing to the organization's marketing and development efforts. Charlie's involvement with the New York State Insurance Fund as a Board Commissioner, confirmed by the New York State Legislature, highlights a commitment to public service and governance. Charlie also has an academic background as an Adjunct Professor at Stony Brook University, teaching courses in Strategic Marketing and Organizational Behavior. Previous experience includes positions on the Board of Directors for WSHU Public Radio and Communications Director at Impell Corporation. Charlie holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Communications from Stony Brook University.
