Data Engineer at Smoove

Marc Letourneur has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Marc is currently working as a Data Engineer at Fifteen since March 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of R&D Engineer - Dev/Data Engineer at Fifteen from May 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Fifteen, Marc worked at myBrain Technologies as an R&D Engineer - Data Scientist from August 2018 to May 2021. In this role, they were involved in the implementation of a data platform for electrophysiological data and utilized event sourcing, CQRS, and a microservices framework.

From November 2016 to August 2018, Marc was a Data Scientist at Fibronostics, a healthcare startup. Here, they contributed to the development of REST APIs for diagnostic and screening tests, designed and optimized regression models, and conducted data analysis to identify biomarkers for outcomes in different medical areas.

Marc also gained experience as an R&D Engineer at myBrain Technologies from October to December 2015. In this role, they focused on reducing the bill of materials for an electronic board by exploring alternative solutions and completed tasks such as conducting a state-of-the-art study, selecting the best solutions, and designing an analog front-end circuit.

Additionally, Marc worked as a Research Intern at Thales Research and Technology from May to October 2015, where they were part of the Waves and Signal Processing Lab. Marc was involved in various research activities related to signal processing.

Marc's earliest work experience was as a Trainee Worker at Lesaffre Ingredients Services in July and August 2013. Marc gained exposure to complex industrial systems and procedures related to security and quality in the food industry.

Marc Letourneur's education history begins in 2006 when they graduated from Lycée Sévigné in Granville with a Secondary School Examination Graduation Diploma, majoring in Science. From 2009 to 2012, they attended Lycée Chateaubriand in Rennes, where they completed Classes préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles, focusing on Mathematics and Physics. In 2012, Marc went on to CentraleSupélec, where they pursued a Diploma d'ingénieur, specializing in Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as Photonics and Communication Systems, until 2016. From 2014 to 2016, they also studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology, earning a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
