Mickey Mccallion

As Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Supply Chain, Mr. McCallion (Mickey) has 35 plus years of operational and manufacturing experience. Originally from Northern Ireland, Mickey and his family became US citizens when they moved to the US, through work 18 years ago. Prior to his permanent move to the US, he spent extended periods working in the US for his employers Seagate Hard Drives, and SMTEK EMS. Prior to joining SMTC Mr. McCallion spent 25 years working in the electronic manufacturing services, with DDL, SMTEK, and CTS. He has experience in Automotive, Industrial, Communications, Medical, Aerospace and Defense manufacturing, managing multiple sites and supply chains in North America and Asia. More recently Mr. McCallion held the position of Executive Vice President with Chatsworth products CPI Inc., a global manufacturer of IT infrastructure products.

With an Engineering background Mickey has gained deep experience in EMS manufacturing, supply and logistics, he prides himself in taking the complexities of the EMS value streams and making them as simple as possible for the external and internal customers.

Mr. McCallion is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he was recently accepted onto the AME, Association of Manufacturing Excellence, extended board. He holds a Higher Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Ulster NI, Post graduate Diploma in Management from Queens University Belfast and a BSc, in Organizational Development from California Lutheran University.
