Michael Culver

Michael Culver is the Senior Vice President, Legal & Business affairs at Snag, where he leads all legal, regulatory and compliance matters, driving business development and corporate initiatives to advance the company’s vision for employers to fill jobs and shifts instantly, and for people to find work when and where they want.

Prior to joining Snag, Michael held various executive roles at Elance and later its successor company Upwork, serving as general counsel, deputy general counsel, acting CFO and interim chief accounting officer at the two companies.

Michael is a founding director of Stout Heart, a non-profit dedicated to education about mental illness and substance abuse in the legal profession and elsewhere. He is also a director of Aesec, a computer security company, and serves on the advisory boards of Certus, an authentication startup, and Combined Partners, an AI venture studio.
