Maureen Wimsatt, PhD, MSW, currently serves as the Chief Program and Development Officer at Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc., where responsibilities include providing strategic direction for community grant programs and funding initiatives. Additionally, Maureen holds positions as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at California State University-Sacramento and the University of New England, teaching courses in the Master of Social Work and Public Health graduate programs, respectively. As President and Principal Investigator at the Center for Healthy Children and Communities, Inc., Maureen oversees research and evaluation contracts aimed at enhancing child development and community health. Previous roles include Chief of the Children's Services Performance and Program Improvement Bureau at the California Department of Social Services, and Principal Consultant at Maureen Wimsatt Consulting. Maureen completed a PhD in Human Development at the University of Maryland, a Master of Social Work at Eastern Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
