Melanie Kennedy

Melanie Kennedy has a diverse and extensive work history in the legal field. Currently, they serve as the VP & Associate General Counsel at Snap Finance since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Lecturer at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business starting in 2016. From 2004 to 2020, Melanie worked at MarketStar, where they held various positions including VP and General Counsel, and Director of Legal. During their time at MarketStar, they provided strategic legal counsel, managed contract workflows, and negotiated deals with major companies such as HP, Cisco, Microsoft, Google, Motorola, LG, and Whirlpool.
