Dr. Anne-Laure Fitzgerald

Dr. Anne-Laure Fitzgerald serves as the Snap-on European Legal Director since March 2017, expanding the legal framework to support various European businesses with corporate, commercial, and HR requirements, while also implementing compliance programs. Having established the Legal Department at SNA Europe in 2009, Dr. Fitzgerald coordinates trade matters across 40 jurisdictions and interfaces with the US Legal Department on compliance and contractual harmonization. Previous roles include Senior Associate at Baker & McKenzie in Vietnam, where Dr. Fitzgerald provided counsel to foreign investors and advised the Vietnamese Government on WTO accession, as well as positions focusing on antitrust issues and international arbitration. Dr. Fitzgerald holds a PhD in International Economic Law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and has extensive experience in academia, having lectured on international relations and law.
