Paul McCarthy is the Founder and CEO of Snapfix. Prior to Snapfix, Paul was with Enterprise Ireland where they ran the New Frontiers Programme. New Frontiers is Enterprise Ireland’s national entrepreneur development programme.

From 2000 to 2002, Paul was with Marrakech as their VP of Professional Services. During their time there, they oversaw projects in Ireland, the UK, Mexico, and Singapore for clients such as Citibank, Tesco, JCB, British Sugar, and BASF.

In 1998, Paul moved to Vision Consulting where they became the Practice Director of CRM Business Consulting. Paul worked with clients such as Citibank, Dime Bank, and Telecom Italia while based in New York. From 1993 until 1998, Paul was with BSG Alliance/IT as a Business & IT Consultant working in New York, New Jersey, Boston, Maine, Maryland and Germany with clients such as Dun & Bradstreet, ABC TV, Bear Stearns Bank, Sony Music, Aramark, Carrier, National Semiconductor, PictureTel and DeTeMobile.

Paul started their career in 1986 as a Systems Analyst/Software Engineer with ICL. Paul then moved into Business Development and Programme/Project Management with their own company in 2002 which they ran until 2019 when they founded Snapfix.

Paul McCarthy has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University College Cork. Paul also has a certification in LBMS Project Management Methodology from Ballincollig Community School. Paul has a certification in Microsoft Project Planning from -, and a certification in PRINCE2 Project Management from PRINCE2. Paul also has a certification in SSADM Project Management Methodology from -.
