Ed Hsieh is a Co-Founder at SnapStays, Inc. Ed has extensive experience in technology, analytics, and real estate.
Ed began their career as a researcher at the MIT Bioinstrumentation Laboratory. Ed then transitioned to Deutsche Bank, where they worked in the Technology Group covering Internet/mobile, software, communications technology, and IT services verticals. During their time at Deutsche Bank, Ed gained deal execution experience with IPO, sell-side and buy-side M&A, LBO, and debt financing transactions.
In 2008, Ed joined IAC/InterActiveCorp, where they worked with operating & investment companies Match.com (now Match Group), OpenTable, ServiceMagic (now ANGI Homeservices), and Citysearch. In 2011, they left IAC/InterActiveCorp to join Groupon Asia Pacific as Head of Analytics & Ops Teams. In this role, Ed led the deal analytics team for 20+ cities and managed a team of 40+ employees across multiple cities.
After their stint at Groupon Asia Pacific, Ed returned to the US to join NetEase (US Office) as a Partnerships & Investments Manager. Ed then left NetEase to focus on real estate investment and management.
Ed’s current role is Co-Founder at SnapStays, Inc., a position they have held since 2016.
