A graduate of the École Centrale de Paris and the University of Kent in the UK, Séverine Lepère joined SNCF in 1997. She has held various operational management positions in the Paris Nord region, in infrastructure, with transport companies and as Director of the Gare du Nord. Director of lines B and K from 2005 to 2012, she contributed to the transformation of RER B operations, notably through the implementation of a single command centre. She continued her career as head of strategic negotiations, notably at Transilien where she negotiated and steered the contract between the company and the Île-de-France Organising Authority - the most important one in the SNCF group. Director of Network Modernisation and Development at Île-de-France General Management since 2020, she pilots development projects that will enable the Île-de-France network to meet the challenges of mass transit.
