Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in developing collaborative technology solutions. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and various educational devices, following previous roles as a firmware engineer in the same company. Prior experience includes working as an electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on educational device design and repair, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier career involvement as an electronics engineer at Grindcom involved developing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
