Ruth Anne Reed

Ruth Anne Reed, SHRM-CP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources. Ruth Anne recently joined Snow Companies in 2023 as the Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to this, Ruth Anne held multiple roles at Atlantic Emergency Solutions, starting as the Director of Human Resources in 2015 and later becoming the Vice President of Human Resources until 2023. Ruth Anne also served as the Co-Chair of Grants at Impact 100 Greater Peninsula from 2022 to 2023.

Before their time at Atlantic Emergency Solutions, Ruth Anne worked as a Human Resources professional at the City of Newport News from 2013 to 2015. Ruth Anne also held the position of Director of Human Resources at Patient Advocate Foundation for an impressive 12-year tenure from 2000 to 2012. Additionally, Ruth Anne served as the VP of Membership for Peninsula SHRM from 2008 to 2010. With their wealth of experience and leadership roles, Ruth Anne Reed has undoubtedly built a strong foundation in the field of Human Resources.

Ruth Anne Reed, SHRM-CP, completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Human Resources at Christopher Newport University from 1996 to 2000. Ruth Anne acquired their SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in June 2021.
