Wayne Mahachi

Wayne Mahachi is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management, internal control systems, budgeting, financial forecasting, and compliant financial reporting. Currently serving as Country Finance Manager at SNV since May 2020, key responsibilities include overseeing financial transactions, preparing annual budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Previously, Wayne held positions as Financial Controller at Save the Children International and Finance Director at Population Services Zimbabwe, where responsibilities mirrored those at SNV. Wayne's career also includes significant roles at PwC as an IFRS Consultant, Ernst and Young as an Assurance Manager, KPMG as an Audit Supervisor, and Deloitte as an Audit Senior, showcasing a strong foundation in audit and accounting practices.
