Carl Pearson

Carl Pearson has over 40 years of experience in the IT industry. Carl began their career in 1979 as a Naval Officer in the US Navy, where they managed computer operations and security. In 1989, they worked as a Property Manager for Pearson Enterprises. From 1991 to 1993, they were a Senior Systems Engineer at CDSI. From 1993 to 2013, they worked as a Network Manager at Applied Engineering Management, where they were responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of short and long-term strategic plans to ensure corporate infrastructure capacity met existing and future requirements. Since 2013, they have been the Director of Information Technology at SNVC, where they serve as the main point of contact of all technology operations, establishing IT policies and providing reach back support for all on-site staff. Carl is also responsible for strategic responsibilities such as process improvement, cybersecurity, research and recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards, budget management, and purchasing of computer hardware, software, and office peripherals.

Carl Pearson earned a BA in Economics from the University of Richmond in 1979. Carl then went on to earn an MBA in Finance from Southeastern University in 1991.
