Cormac Bakewell

Cormac Bakewell is a seasoned professional in policy communications, currently serving as a Partner at Soapbox since October 2010. Prior experience includes roles as a Subeditor at Haymarket Publishing from March 2009 to September 2010 and as a freelancing journalist, subeditor, and copywriter from March 2008 to September 2010. Cormac also completed a postgraduate diploma in Periodical Journalism at the University of the Arts London and earned an LLB in Law and French from Queen's University Belfast. Additional past positions include Commission Secretary at the Independent Police Complaints Commission and Senior Policy Officer/Policy Advisor to the Chief Executive at the Commission for Racial Equality.
