Nancy Gannon Hornberger, CEO, is a nationally recognized leader with more than three decades of professional experience in social justice, public policy, system reform, education and human services. Prior to joining SAY San Diego, Nancy was the executive director of the Coalition for Juvenile Justice, and held executive leadership positions with the National Crime Prevention Council and the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence in Washington, DC. Nancy serves on the California State Child Welfare Council’s Prevention Committee, and the Advisory Board for San Diego State University School of Social Work. She is also a lecturer in the Weber Honors College at SDSU. Nancy has received commendations from President Bill Clinton, the Public Relations Society of America and the National Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Coalition, among others. In 2015, she received a fellowship to attend the Harvard Business School Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management Program.
