Alberto Lugo

Alberto Lugo has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Alberto is currently serving as Co President at Puerto Rico IT Cluster since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at INVID, LLC as the President, leading the company's software development and consulting services. Alberto also served as an Application Support Specialist at Doral Financial Corporation from October 2002 to March 2003. Alberto began their career as a Marketing Intern at Microsoft in June 1999 and worked there until August 2002.

Alberto Lugo obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico in 2003. Alberto also attended Babson College in 2017-2018, where they pursued a degree in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations under the Goldman Sachs | 10KSB program. In 2015, they participated in the Emerging Leaders Program at the Small Business Administration and studied Business Administration and Management at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Alberto Lugo also holds various certifications, including NMSDC Certified, DBE Certified, HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certified, SBA 8(a) Certified, and Professional Engineer (PE) from the Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico, all obtained between 2016 and 2017.
