Jason Paragas

Jason Paragas is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors. As the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of DVLP Medicines since June 2022, Jason leads a global team focused on utilizing frontier technology to expedite medicine delivery for patients. Concurrently, Jason serves as a Venture Partner and Advisor at Social Impact Capital. Previous roles include Startup President and Founder of SaponiQx, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Growth Exploration at Agenus, and Vice President of External Innovation at Valo. Jason has held significant positions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, including Director of Innovation and Deputy Director of the Office of Mission Innovation, where collaborative efforts translated innovative concepts into actionable projects. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Program Director for Bio-Security at the NIAID and as Principal Investigator at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases. Jason holds a PhD in Microbiology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a degree from the University of Chicago.
