Julie Diaz-Asper has over 30 years of work experience. Julie began their career in 1989 as a Consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton. Julie then moved on to Coopers & Lybrand as a Senior Consultant in 1993. In 1996, they joined American Express as a Marketing Director and was responsible for defining, building, and launching digital products to help Corporate Service clients manage travel and procurement expenses. In 2005, they returned to American Express as a Consultant, where they looked at opportunities to increase customer satisfaction with the Gift Card product and deepen relationships with Mall partners. In 2007, they became the Program Director (LifeTuner Marketing & Social Media Consultant) at AARP, where they developed a digital platform and marketing launch strategy for LifeTuner, a financial literacy campaign. In 2010, they founded GigCoin, a platform to hire savvy, influential, and motivated talent. Finally, in 2016, they became a Founding Partner at Social Lens Research, where they help organizations with strategic insights and recommendations to inform product, service delivery, customer experience, messaging, and outreach enhancements.

Julie Diaz-Asper attended Georgetown University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Portuguese Language and Literature and International Business. Julie then went on to the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1993.
