Michelle Garcia Winner

Michelle Garcia Winner is the Founder of Social Thinking Publishing, a company they established in 1998. Their primary focus at Social Thinking is on developing concepts and strategies to assist individuals with solid to strong language skills, who may have neurodiverse conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, language learning differences, or challenges with emotional regulation. Prior to founding Social Thinking, Michelle worked at Prospect High School in the Campbell Union High School District from September 1995 to June 1999.

Michelle Garcia Winner obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Michelle Garcia continued their education at Indiana University Bloomington and earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist between 1983 and 1985.
