Brigitte Smith

Brigitte Smith is the Founder and Managing Director of GBS Venture Partners, an Australian life science venture capital firm established in 1998. In addition to this role, Brigitte serves as a Non-Executive Director for several organizations, including Amber Electric, Platinum Asset Management Limited, Moximed, and the now-closed AllVascular. Brigitte is also an Investment Committee Member for Social Ventures Australia and Kiwi Innovation Network, focusing on social impact and transforming scientific discoveries into businesses. Brigitte holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School, a MALD in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
