Irene Osoata

Irene Osoata is an experienced public health professional with a strong background in program management and international development. Currently serving as a Program Manager with Society for Family Health Nigeria since August 2023, Irene previously held the position of Director of International Development and Strategic Initiatives at GFA Consulting Group GmbH, where contributions included researching vocational education in the health sector and supporting capacity development initiatives. Irene's expertise also encompasses roles as a Program Specialist at RENAY Consults and Technical Program Director at Plan International, focusing on public health interventions and maternal health projects. With a Master’s in Public Health from Karolinska Institutet and a medical degree from the University of Benin, Irene also has a history of providing comprehensive medical care, demonstrating a commitment to improving health outcomes through various strategic programs.
