Ginie Lynch has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Ginie began their career as a Student Services Administrator at the Foreign Student Service Council, where they were responsible for programming cultural and public policy seminars. Ginie later worked as a Business Reporter at Gazette Newspapers, writing news and feature articles on various topics. Moving into the field of communications, Ginie served as a Special Assistant/Speechwriter at the U.S. Department of Housing, where they developed communication strategies and promoted HUD through various channels. Ginie then joined Widmeyer Communications as an Assistant Vice President, overseeing national client accounts and developing communication and marketing plans. Following this, they worked as a Communications Strategist at a PR Executive Consultant firm, providing public affairs, media relations, and marketing services to educational institutions, businesses, and nonprofits. Prior to their current position, Ginie served as the Managing Director of PACE at Salisbury University, where they managed day-to-day operations and oversaw public policy forums and debates, among other responsibilities. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Communications at the Society for Financial Education & Professional Development, Inc. (SFEPD).
Ginie Lynch completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Print Journalism and Public Affairs from The American University in 1989. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1984.
