Lisa Schilling, FSA, EA, FCA, MAAA, serves as the Director of Practice Research at the Society of Actuaries Research Institute, where leadership is provided in actuarial practice research activities to enhance the global actuarial profession. With a career spanning various roles, Lisa has also functioned as a Senior Research Actuary and Retirement Research Actuary, analyzing retirement systems and their regulatory impacts. Previous experience includes consulting for mortality education and managing actuaries at the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits, where extensive valuations and analyses of welfare and retirement plans were conducted. Lisa's contributions extend to multiple committees within the Society of Actuaries, focusing on professional development and retirement system innovations, and started with an actuarial internship at CIGNA. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa.
