Sharon Krock has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and environmental sciences. Sharon currently holds the role of National President-Elect at the Society of American Military Engineers. Prior to this, they served as the National Vice President at the same organization. Additionally, Sharon has been involved with the Chester County Solid Waste Authority, where they are a Board Member and also holds the position of Secretary on the Board of Directors. Sharon has been with Schnabel Engineering since 2001, initially working as a Wetland Scientist and later becoming a Branch Leader. In their role at Schnabel Engineering, Sharon has been involved in business development and strategic partnering, with a particular focus on Federal Services. Sharon specializes in Dam Engineering, Geostructural, Geotechnical, and Environmental Services. Before joining Schnabel Engineering, Sharon worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation as an Environmental Compliance Ecologist, where they were responsible for inspecting construction sites for compliance with erosion and sedimentation control regulations.
Sharon Krock obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Lebanon Valley College between the years 1993 and 1997. Sharon furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology from PennWest Clarion, which they completed between 1997 and 1999. In 2004, they obtained the certification of "Senior Professional Wetland Scientist" from the Society of Wetland Scientists - Professional Certification Program.
