Alfred Leber (Fred)

Alfred (Fred) Leber has extensive experience in fire protection and safety standards, holding significant positions since 1992 at the Standards Council of Canada, including Chair of the Canadian Advisory Council to ISO/TC21 and ISO/TC21/SC3. Currently serving as CEO of AML Encore Corp. since May 2017, Alfred has been involved with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) since 2000 in various principal roles, notably relating to the protection of cultural resources and historic structures. Additional involvement includes serving on multiple committees within the NFPA, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, UL, and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. Alfred's educational background includes a Diploma in Electronics and Physics, specializing in Nuclear Physics, from Ryerson University.
