Jonathan Reiss

Jonathan Reiss is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the finance and education sectors. Currently serving as the Co-founder and organizer of The Media and Democracy Project since November 2021, Reiss also manages Analytical Synthesis, LLC. as Managing Director, a role held since January 2005. As a Trustee at the Metropolitan College of New York and a Past President and Honorary Board Member of the Society of Quantitative Analysts since June 2015, Reiss contributes to high-quality educational initiatives in the finance industry. Previously, Reiss held positions as Senior Vice President and Senior Quantitative Strategist at AllianceBernstein from 2001 to 2004, and as Head of International Fixed Income and Director of Fixed Income Research at Sanford C. Bernstein from 1985 to 2000. Reiss earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1974 and 1979.
