Mike Goering

Mike Goering is an accomplished retail management professional with extensive experience in store operations and space management. Currently serving as the Director of Stores at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul St. Louis since May 2021, Mike focuses on purpose, people, process, and profit. Previously, Mike held the role of Assistant Director of Stores at the same organization from January 2019 to May 2021, contributing to its mission of providing service to those in need. Prior to this, Mike managed space management for Save-A-Lot food stores, overseeing 1,300+ locations from December 2016 to August 2018. Mike's career began at Best Buy, where leadership as a Consumer Electronics Space Management Manager lasted from March 1999 to November 2016, enhancing store-specific assortments and inventory optimization. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Missouri State University.
