Vanessa Lindsay, PMP

Vanessa Lindsay, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Vanessa started their career as a Senior Accountant at Deloitte, where they planned and managed audit engagements for both public and private companies. Following this, Vanessa joined Verizon as a Product Manager, where they developed product roadmaps, led contract negotiations, and conducted market research. Vanessa then co-founded The Whole Tortilla, a gourmet food company, where they managed all aspects of the business, including product creation, production, sales, marketing, and branding. Vanessa later returned to Socket Mobile, Inc. as a Product Marketing Manager, responsible for defining and managing Bluetooth Barcode Scanners. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Product Manager at Socket Mobile, overseeing the line of Cordless Scanning Products. Throughout their career, Vanessa has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on understanding market trends and customer needs to drive product strategy.

Vanessa Lindsay, PMP has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Cal State East Bay- College of Business & Economics. Vanessa also has a Certification Program in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from UC Berkeley, Extension.

In addition to their formal education, Vanessa has obtained several certifications. Vanessa holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in July 2013. Vanessa also has a Six Sigma White Belt Certificate of Achievement from Aveta Business Institute, achieved in November 2013. Vanessa is a Certified Scrum Master from the International Scrum Institute, certified in December 2013. Furthermore, Vanessa has acquired certifications in WordPress Fundamentals, Digital Marketing, and HTML Fundamentals from AcademyX in August 2014 and July 2014 respectively. Additionally, they hold a Product Manager Certification from Pragmatic Marketing, obtained in July 2008, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the AICPA, achieved in May 1992.
