Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson has a strong background in waste management and environmental consulting. Mark began their career in 2003 as an Environment Officer with Argyll and Bute Council. From 2006 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Waste Management Consultant at Silkstone Environmental Ltd, where they were responsible for project management and preparing planning and environmental permit applications for various waste management operations. Since 2014, Mark has been working at SOCOTEC UK, initially as a Senior Scientist and later as a Principal Scientist. Mark'srole at SOCOTEC involves business development, project management, waste management consultancy, and preparation of technical reports and risk assessments for permit and planning applications. Additionally, they have expertise in environmental modeling and monitoring.

Mark Wilson obtained a Bachelor of Technology (Hons) in Environmental Protection and Management from The University of Edinburgh in 2003. Mark then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Waste Science and Management from Lancaster University, which they completed in 2006.
