Bruno Somet

Bruno SOMET is an experienced professional in construction engineering and project management, currently serving as the Director of Technical and Development for AQUITAINE-CHARENTES at SOCOTEC Building Control since March 2022. Previously, Bruno SOMET held various leadership roles at Bureau Veritas Group from September 1994 to March 2022, including Regional Director of Major Construction Projects and development manager, and was involved in significant projects like the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux. Before that, Bruno SOMET worked as a project manager and service manager, overseeing technical control for various departments. Earlier in Bruno SOMET’s career, roles included Engineer at Apave and SOCAE ATLANTIQUE, where responsibilities encompassed technical studies and site monitoring. Bruno SOMET holds multiple degrees in Civil Engineering, including a degree from ESTP and a Master's in Civil and Port Engineering from Le Havre.
