Konstantin Kalin

Konstantin Kalin has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Konstantin'smost recent position is as a Software Architect at Socotra, where they started in January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at VUDU - a Walmart company from March 2016 to January 2021, also as a Software Architect.

Before joining VUDU, Kalin was a Principal Architect at Mirantis from October 2015 to March 2016. From August 2012 to October 2015, they held the role of Software Architect at VUDU, where they were responsible for overseeing the VUDU platform and addressing scalability and performance issues. Konstantin conducted code and architecture analysis to identify potential bottlenecks and security concerns, and provided recommendations for improvements.

Before their tenure at VUDU, Kalin worked at Five9 from September 2011 to August 2012, first as a Sr. Architect working on a proof of concept for a new generation VCC platform, and later as Director, Sustaining and Internal Development. In this role, they spearheaded various projects, from technical to managerial, and implemented features and improvements in telecom and server-side areas.

Prior to that, Kalin served as Software Manager at Zultys Technologies from July 2004 to July 2006, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of the Zultys PBX Administrator application.

Konstantin'searlier work experience includes being a Senior Engineer at Ustoichivye Systemy from February 2003 to June 2004, where they designed and maintained a proprietary billing system, and a Senior Expert at STC Atlas branch in Nizhny Novgorod from July 2001 to February 2003, where they developed tools and utilities and evaluated network equipment.

Kalin began their career as an Engineer at Nizhegorodsvayzinform in October 1998, where they created the architecture and developed a phone-number directory system.

Throughout their career, Kalin has demonstrated expertise in software architecture, scalability, performance, and technical leadership. Konstantin has successfully implemented various improvements and played key roles in the development of multiple products and platforms.

Konstantin Kalin attended Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Networks and Communications Systems.
