John Kohoutek

John (Jack) Kohoutek, Ph.D., currently serves as the Head of Data Science for Consortium Intelligence at Socure, leading initiatives in First Party Fraud modeling and integrating solutions with Socure Account Intelligence while managing a global team. Previously, as Vice President of Machine Learning at Vesta, John focused on creating machine learning models to combat chargeback fraud for e-commerce merchants. John also held various leadership roles at Early Warning®, including Director of Data Science, where efforts were centered on developing consortium models to mitigate fraud in the U.S. banking sector. Earlier experiences include roles at McKinsey & Company, iNfinitesimal, Northrop Grumman Corporation, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Northwestern University, each involving data science, engineering, and research contributions in innovative technology development. John obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
