Liselotte Schaefer Elinder is an Adjunct Professor at Karolinska Institutet since January 2013, leading a research group focused on Community Nutrition and Physical Activity, with an emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, diet, physical activity, and obesity, while also teaching at multiple academic levels. Additionally, Liselotte serves as an Adjunct Lecturer and Senior Researcher at Stockholms läns landsting since April 2012, specializing in health promotion and disease prevention. Previously, Liselotte held the position of Director for the Unit of Applied Nutrition at Stockholms läns landsting from October 2006 to December 2008, and served as Director at Statens folkhälsoinstitut from August 1998 to September 2006, focusing on policy regarding diet and physical activity. Academically, Liselotte earned a PhD in Fatty Acids in Atopic Dermatitis from Syddansk Universitet and an MSc in Experimental Biology from Odense University.
