Elin Karlsson

Elin Karlsson has extensive experience in the medical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as a board member of Sveriges läkarförbund since November 2023 and as a member of the advisory board of Läkarförbundets Förhandlingsdelegation since November 2022. Elin has held leadership positions, including Chair of Sjukhusläkarna since March 2014 and previously serving as Vice Chair. As a practicing surgeon at Södertälje Sjukhus AB since March 2019, Elin has also held roles such as Chair of the Rådet för läkemedel IT och medicinteknik RLIM from June 2017 to January 2020. With a medical degree from Uppsala University obtained between 1999 and 2005, Elin's career includes significant contributions to various healthcare organizations, including a member role in the board of Sveriges läkarförbund from May 2013 to November 2019 and serving as a General Surgeon for Landstinget Sörmland from March 2007 to March 2019.
