Dan B.

Dan B. has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a role as a Designer/Engineer at WSP Flack + Kurtz in 2008. Dan then moved on to Enerpac in 2010, where they served as a Field Product Engineer and Engineer Management Development Program (EMDP). In 2014, Dan B. began working at MakerBot® as a Product Manager - Education and Product Manager - Hardware. Dan then joined Apple in 2018 as a Technical Product Manager - AMP Data Science & Analytics. In 2021, Dan B. moved to Amazon as a Sr. Product Manager, Technical - Sustainability. Most recently, they began working at Sofar Ocean as a Senior Product Manager, Fleet in 2022.

Dan B. has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Materials Science from the University of Rochester. Dan also has a Certificate of Completion from the Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp from Data Science Dojo, obtained in October 2019. Additionally, they have a Mine Safety and Health Administration certification from the US Department of Labor OSHA, obtained in December 2013, and a Data Analysis with Python certification from Cognitive Class. Dan is currently enrolled in the Applied Data Science Program at MIT Professional Education, expected to be completed in August 2022.
