John Christakopoulos MICS

John Christakopoulos MICS has been working in the maritime industry since 2008. John began their career as a Marketing and Sales Junior Consultant at Geniki Episkevastiki Ltd. in 2008. In 2011, they moved to Latsco (London) Ltd. as an Operations Officer. In 2013, they joined Teekay as a Commercial Analyst and later as a Commercial Projects and Risk Manager. In 2018, they were appointed as Director, Commercial Projects at Heidmar Inc. and in 2019, they moved to Borealis Maritime Limited as Vice President Corporate Development. Currently, they are the Director Of Business Development (EMEA) at Sofar Ocean.

John Christakopoulos MICS obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business from Deree College in 2005-2009. John then went on to pursue a Master of Science - MS in Maritime Operations and Management from City, University of London from 2010-2011.
