Maria Šćekić

Maria Šćekić has a diverse work experience in the field of education and language teaching. Maria started as an English Translator at Cross-Cultural Solutions in 2004 and later worked as an English Teacher at Secondary School №36. Maria then progressed to roles at various language schools, where they took on responsibilities such as teaching, training, and even HR management. Maria'smost recent positions include Senior Product Manager roles at Skyeng and sofatutor, focusing on academic product management and core products.

Maria Šćekić obtained their Specialist's Diploma with Merit in Foreign Languages (English and German) from Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky in 2008. Maria also completed a Certificate of Completion in International Relations and National Security Studies from Stanford University in 2006. In 2019, Maria earned a Mini-MBA in Product Management from Corporate University Skyway (Skyeng), and in 2017, they received a Certificate of Completion from the University of Oxford for the English Language Teachers' Summer Seminar. Additionally, Maria holds certifications such as Product Academy Fundamentals from McKinsey & Company in 2022, TKT YL from Cambridge Assessment English in 2015, C2 Proficiency (CPE) from Cambridge Assessment in 2010, and an English Translator Certificate from YSPU named after K.D.
