Hao Yu

Hao Yu has extensive experience in naval architecture and ocean engineering, currently serving as Lead Naval Architect at SOFEC, Inc. since September 2015, focusing on floating systems for oil and gas and alternative energy applications. Previously, Hao held the position of Lead Naval Architect at DMAR Engineering from October 2013 to August 2015, specializing in hydrodynamic analysis, stability analysis, and structural design of floating platforms. Prior roles include Lead Naval Architect at Technip, where responsibilities included providing technical leadership during various engineering phases, and Floating System Engineering Group Manager at CNOOC Engineering, overseeing a team of 30 professionals and ensuring compliance with technical standards. Hao earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Offshore Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in 1998.
