Joon Lim

Joon Lim is a seasoned Lead Structural Engineer at SOFEC, Inc. since May 2006, specializing in global and detailed structural design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for various marine and offshore systems, including turret mooring systems, tower yoke mooring systems, and hull design modifications. Prior to this role, Joon Lim held positions as Senior Structural Engineer and Structural Engineer at Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd. from January 1995 to May 2002. Joon Lim earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering - Structure from the University of Waterloo (2003-2005) and holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Inha University (1989-1995).
