Yih Shen Chong

Yih Shen Chong has extensive experience in the marine and offshore engineering sector, currently serving as a Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager at SOFEC, Inc. since June 2017. Prior to this role, Yih Shen worked at EMAS AMC from July 2012 to May 2017 as a Senior SURF Engineer, providing tender support for deepwater pipeline and flowline projects. Additional experience includes positions as a Naval Architect at Orwell Offshore, focusing on mooring and riser system design, and at London Marine Consultants, where Yih Shen analyzed riser and umbilical systems. Earlier roles at Bluewater Energy Services and Bridgestone involved engineering design related to mooring systems and FPSO offloading hoses. Yih Shen holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Tasmania and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Prime College, Malaysia.
